6 Easy Steps to Ensure an Amazing Dog Grooming Experience

Updated: May 22, 2023

  1. Choose a groomer. We hope you choose us! There are many different dog groomers out there, so it's important to choose one that's a good fit for you and your dog. Ask your friends, family, and veterinarian for recommendations, and be sure to read reviews online. We have the most amazing repeat customers and that's why our reviews are amazing. When you're interviewing groomers, be sure to ask about their experience, their rates, and their availability. All of this is on our website, or contact us with dog grooming questions at 801-707-5864.

  2. Book an appointment. It's a good idea to book an appointment with Paws on the Go in advance, especially if you have a special request or if you're grooming your dog during peak season. 5-6 weeks out is standard.

  3. Prepare your dog. Before you take your dog to the groomer, be sure to brush their fur. This will help the groomer do their job more quickly and easily during washing and grooming. If your dog has any special needs, such as allergies or skin conditions, be sure to let the groomer know.

  4. Be there for the grooming process. Since we come to your home, no need for this! Make sure we have access to your driveway or street parking.

  5. Pick up your dog. We cut out this process as well, saving you time and money.

  6. Tip the groomer. It's customary to tip your groomer for their services. The amount of the tip is up to you, but a good rule of thumb is to tip 15-20% of the total cost of the grooming. Of course this is completely up to you. We appreciate your business and strive to make your dog look amazing. Check out our photos for reference.
