Mobile Pet Groomer in West valley city, UT
Best Professional Mobile Dog
Groomer in Utah!
My name is Tara and I am the owner/groomer of Paws on the Go LLC.
I started my business in Orlando in 2015 and have just recently relocated to Salt Lake City. I have been a dog and animal lover my entire life, and have always wanted to work with them. Early in 2006, while I was in college, I started working as a bather/brusher and immediately fell in love with the job. After receiving my bachelor's degree from the University of Tampa, I trained to become a groomer and have been doing it ever since!
What is the mission of your salon?
Over the years, I have learned a lot about dogs and what makes them all so special. I created Paws on the Go LLC in 2015 so that I could provide quality grooming services while establishing a close relationship with my clients. There is a lot more to grooming than simply making a dog look pretty, and I strive to provide the best service possible. Understanding dog behavior and being knowledgeable about medical issues is crucial, and I have studied various topics to help me in my line of work.

What are some of your experiences?
My experience with animals actually goes back to elementary school, when I began taking horseback riding lessons. Shortly after, I joined a local 4-H club dedicated to horses and spent the next several years learning to care for them. I also began taking private show jumping lessons during high school. Later on, I helped form the Equestrian Club at the University of Tampa and was president for a couple of years.
Fun facts about Tara.
While I was in college, I also was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to volunteer at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium for a few years, working with rescued and rehabilitated marine animals. I mostly helped feed and care for sea turtles, and occasionally gave presentations on them. I also worked with the dolphins and river otters there, assisting the trainers during their feeding and training sessions, as well as participating in the presentations.
